Hi, there. You did not answer the question asked on 1/17/21, about if this works on the plastic casings. I get that it will work on other brands that have the approximate same dimensions as your product, as stated in the description of this product. Does this sharpener work on pencils that have plastic casings/barrels? If they are the appropriate size to fit in the holes of this particular sharpener? It is not helpful to simply restate what is already described in the posted description of this product.

Will this work on plastic casings. I have yet to find a sharpener that can sharpen an eyeliner pencil with plastic casing. They all destroy the pencil and waste so much product.

Great sharpener, but not worth the price.
This sharpener works great. The blades are sharp, and I like the little removable plastic tool it comes with to remove the gunk so you get a nice, clean shave every time. Works way better than my cheapo one, particularly on UD pencils which are a bit soft.
Smooth, worth it
Works great for plastic pencils and crayons, doesn't like skip iykwim, and sharpens tip to a point w/o breaking it. If you buy $15-$20+ pencils, I'd say it's worth spending an extra $5 for a nice sharpener like this one.

Best Sharpener I've Ever Used
My pencils have been getting eaten up by all of the different sharpeners I had. I thought maybe it was the pencils, but they are all different brands. I hadn't started using my pencils as much until recently, so this was a new issue. I searched online for a new sharpener and I thought, how are they different? They all sharpen, right? No. I purchased three and this is the best sharpener I've ever used, hands down. It's easy to clean and doesn't eat up or make my pencils or the wood jagged. Just smooth, silky eyeliner with no wood jabbing my eyes.
