Works but is messy and takes some effort

I received the KISS Glue Off Press On Nails Remover in exchange for my honest review. This product definitely works but it will absolutely ruin your press-ons so don't use it with any that you want to reuse. I was curious to try this out with fairly freshly applied press ons, for example if I want t...o wear the nails for an event, just a night or two, then take them off as I've struggled to remove nails after just a few days in the past. I applied the remover according the instructions around the edge of the nails, let it soak in for a minute, then attempted to use the applicator to remove the nails. This was extremely messy and wasted a lot of the remover, and I was unable to get the tip under nails that had glue all the way to the edges. Using the tip also broke off the softened nails in pieces which ended up making it more difficult to remove the entire nail. I had much better luck using my thumb nail to pry up the softened nails which typically allowed me to get the nails off in one piece. The product does work but you can see from my picture that it doesn't actually dissolve the glue, it just softens it, which makes it easier to remove the nails. I did end up with a lot of glue left on my nails and did my best to buff it off, but there's definitely still a layer of glue on some if not all of my nails. There's also definitely some damage from the nails—most of the tips of my nails made it out unscathed but my right pinky nail pulled off at the edge, and you can see in the pictures that there's some surface damage. Let's also talk packaging. The tube is convenient but it's extremely messy because there's nothing actually stopping the hole in the applicator, so every time I take the lid off a bunch of product spills out which is a waste. The label also basically melted when it got the product on it which isn't a big deal but looks terrible. Overall this product does work and I might buy it again but I will probably try a different press on remover before coming back to this.
