There's no been no glow up in this Glow Time reformulation

Several years ago, when I was discussing my problem finding non-irritating makeup for my very sensitive skin, I was introduced to the original Glow Time formulation by an aesthetician, and it was my holy grail foundation. It applied smoothly, kept my skin dewy (and, yes, glowing) and didn't irritate... my skin at all. There was also a shade light enough for my very pale skin, and I constantly got compliments on my skin whenever I wore it. So while I was very sad when the last of my supply ran out, and there was no more to replace it. I was also a bit trepidatious due to the low reviews, but I was willing to give this new "Pro" version a shot because the previous formulation had built up a lot of goodwill with me, and I thought it couldn't be all that bad...maybe not as good as the previous version, but surely everyone was reacting so strongly because the original formulation had developed such a loyal following. Well, I'm sorry I doubted you, low-rating reviewers. Often, foundation ill-suited to my sensitive skin causes me to break out after I've worn it for a little while, but this stuff actually made my skin start stinging immediately upon application, which was a new and unpleasant development. Despite my careful skin prep and attention to application directions, it also caked terribly (and pretty immediately) and settled firmly into every line and imperfection. Gone is the dewy, glowy look, and this stuff was very drying -- and the fact I experienced it as so drying is remarkable considering how quickly I removed it due to the stinging. Oh, and I ended up with a rash, too. This is terribly disappointing because JI took away what I genuinely consider to have been their best product, just recycling the name (which is now a definite misnomer), and they've rendered a product that had been a lifesaver for me into something I can't use because it actually stings when it's in contact with my skin. I genuinely don't know what they were thinking, but after the reaction it gave my skin, I'll never try another foundation or primer product by them unless they replicate the old BB cream exactly -- after the reaction I had, I just don't have confidence in their foundation products any longer. This product went back to the store, and now, I guess it's time to begin again the search for a product that looks good and that I can wear without breakouts. There's nothing "Pro" about this one, JI -- it's strictly amateur hour.
