Is this product good for highlights? I want to be able to use as toner. To refresh highlights. My highlights get brassy.
- Asked by Jen
- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageIf your goal is to tone brassiness in highlights, try our Glossy Glaze in Cool Blonde instead of Sheer. It’s designed to add shine and gently tone warm or yellow tones in blonde or highlighted hair. You can also try our Gloss+ Toning Purple deep conditioner, which helps neutralize brassiness while keeping your hair soft. Either are a great way to refresh your highlights and keep your color looking salon-fresh between appointments! Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can a conditioner be used with this? Either before or after application?
- Asked by Alex
- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageGlossy Glaze is a conditioning shine treatment, so most don’t need a separate conditioner. For best results, apply to clean hair after squeezing out excess water (hair should be wet, not dripping) then rinse out. If your hair is very dry or thick, feel free to follow with a leave-in conditioner. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
can the glossy glaze be mixed with a conditioner or hair mask for boosted moisturizing and easier appliction? asking for the v curly girlies :)
- Asked by kcr7
- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageWhile it might be tempting to mix Glossy Glaze with a conditioner or mask, we recommend using it as is to get the full glossy, high-shine effect. If you do want to customize it, try a strand test first—diluting the formula can minimize the results Glossy Glaze is designed to deliver. Was this answer helpful to you

Does this add color to the hair, or does it just make the current color more shiny?
- Asked by Molly

A HAIR GLOSS you can literally put on in the SHOWER.
Um excuse me? What was that? You're telling me that the dpHue Sheer Transparent Glossy Glaze is put on IN THE SHOWER and not afterwards?! Yes ladies and gents - this amazing hair gloss you put on IN THE SHOWER after shampooing your hair. Skip the conditioner because this pretty much IS a "conditioni...

Not for me
I've been searching for my "holy grail" hair product that can boost both my hair's shine and health while reducing frizz, so I was thrilled to have the chance to try this product for free in exchange for an honest review. Unfortunately, my experience was just so-so. For context, I have thin hair tha...

Turned my hair green but it was soft & silky

Turned my hair green but the gloss and texture was great.
Smells terrible but very conditioning and gives great shine
I agree it smells terrible BUT the shine it gives is amazing. I used the transparent one. Also unlike other glosses you just put it in for 3 minutes and it also detangles and conditions my curly hair so well.
This is not a good product

I got a free sample and tried it, but it was so bad I felt like I needed to come here and warn people. I would be incredibly upset if I purchased this product. Does not make the hair shiny or glossy whatsoever but made my scalp hurt and my hair smelled so terrible for days. SKIP THIS
Love the results, just not the smell
Gave me a wuick and easy hint if color and left my hair very soft and smooth. Only downside is the smell. It reminds me of dog shampoo!
Smells awful
I got the clear as a sample, so I figured I would give it a try. This stuff is NASTY. I'm not s ure what the consistency is supposed to feel like, but it comes out like water but then froths up in your hair, it's just a very offputting texture. It reeks like cheap boxed dye, and once I rinsed it out my hair felt rough and dry. Results when my hair dried were nonexistent. I'm so glad I didn't pay for this, lol.
