Can you put this product in clean dry hair and then rinse it out?

Applying on dry hair may lead to patchy results or uneven color payoff. So be sure to shampoo first, towel-dry, then apply Gloss+ evenly from roots to ends. Some shades, like Cool Blonde, offer subtle toning effects, but it doesn’t deposit color like Gloss+.(some shades tone, like Cool Blonde) but doesn’t deposit color like Gloss+. would the color run if your and stain your clothes hair gets wet from the shower or pool or beach?

- Official Answer By dpHUE - Brand EngageAfter your initial Gloss+ application and rinse, it’s normal for a small amount of color to wash out—but once your hair is dry, you’re good to go! The color won’t continue to run or stain your clothes if your hair gets wet at the beach, in the pool, or the shower. That said, chlorine and saltwater can cause color to fade more quickly, so if you're spending time in the sun or water, we recommend using a UV or color protectant spray to help preserve your tone and shine. Hair Type Wavy Hair
I was hoping this product would gloss/tone my six month old streaks because I was tired of the ombre effect I had going on, but this left my ends looking very spotty and uneven. The ends now look darker than my roots and almost like a cheetah spots and it's very inconsistent. The front pieces framing my face turned the darkest which is what is so noticeable. I spent more on the bottle than I would have spent in the salon and now I won't use the rest of the bottle. Afraid to show my stylist at the salon so I am hoping it fades in the next few weeks.

Got the carmel gloss shade and it did nothing on my hair and I have blonde hair so it should hvae pi ked up something.
Love it, Works for me!
I bought the copper and dark brown to maintain my calico hair between salon visits. It smoothed out my hair and made it soft. It added some shine. I definitely noticed a difference with the copper color depositing and my hair looks refreshed! I like that it comes in a pump bottle so its easy to use and no mixing! This will last me a while since the brown and copper are small sections. Only con I can think of is the smell, but it just smells like any other hair dye to me.
