I really wanted to love this because of the ingredients, but there is an overwhelming heavy smell, kind of like clay/plastic that just isn't great. I let it sit for 45 minutes and it's still there. Something I've smelled in some lotions but don't know what it is. Hope it can be reformulated. I don't believe it's the SA as I have used many SA cleansers that don't have that smell.

These cetaphil products are absolutely amazing! I don't think I knew they carried this wide a variety of products, but they all work together so so so well! I feel like there's been an improvement in both mine, and my daughter's skin!

Ive been on a constant journey of trying to figure out how to clear my skin from acne and dark spots. I've seen great things about the Cetaphil line and figured I'd give them a try when Ulta had a sale a few weeks ago. I purchased this cleanser and the corresponding moisturizer. The first two weeks were fine, however at the start of week two, my face and neck were itchy all over. I'd never had that kind of reaction before. The next day I had little bumps all over my forehead, cheeks, and neck. Maybe my skin was too sensitive. With thi being my first time trying Cetaphil, I'm skeptical to try an alternative cleanser from this brand.

I love a good cleanser and this Cetaphil cleanser with SA tops the list. This cleanser is super effective at removing dead skin cells and cleansing your skin. Whether you are cleansing your face in the morning or removing make up at night this cleanser will help get your skin prepped.
Not for cystic acne
If you're very acne prone and have sensitive skin, this is not a good cleanser to go for , it completely dried out my skin. It made me so itchy, and my acne more inflamed , I would say this is more for hydrating skin that looks dull.
