Prior to use, make sure your skin is clean, shaved, dry and free from any residues such as powders, creams, make-up, anti-perspirants, deodorants, fake tan etc. Complete a spot test 48 hours prior to completing your first full session.
Using Your IPL Handset:
- Plug the Power Supply into the handset and into a power source. Press the Power/Intensity button to turn on.
- Adjust the intensity level by pressing the Power/Intensity button.The Power/Intensity lights indicate the intensity level selected (1 light for low, 5 for high).
- The handset has a safety sensor and will not flash unless the Light Window is in direct contact with your skin. If direct contact with skin is not made, the Power/Intensity lights will stay illuminated and the handset will not flash.
- To use, place the Light Window flat against the skin.
- When the Power/Intensity lights blink, this indicates that the handset is ready to use and is in contact with the skin. Press the flash button to release one flash.
- For stubborn areas such as areas of skin with thick hair, you may go over the treatment area up to three times per session.
- To power off the handset, press and hold the Power/Intensity button. Remove the power cord from the power source only after the handset has been turned off.
Precautions: IPL is not suitable for blonde, red, grey or white hair. Consult your physician before use if you have any pre-existing skin conditions or health concerns. Do not use if you are or may be pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use on tattoos, birthmarks, warts or metal items such as body piercings. Do not use if your skin type is indicated as unsuitable by the skin tone chart located on the back of the box and inside the user guide.

Not what I was expecting from reviews
I've been using thus device for 16 weeks and have not seen very good results. After pregnancy I developed hair growth in some unusual places and was hoping for this to be a quick, at-home remedy. review seems a little harsh to me
I didnt see the reviews before i bought this, otherwise i wouldn't have lol. But this has worked pretty well for it does what it says it does the sessions can take a little long if you are doing your full legs but it gets the job done at a fraction of the price of laser sessions.
Don't waste your money
I have been using this consistently (once a week), on the highest setting, for the last 14 months. I have seen zero results and am very disappointed in this product. Do not waste your money on this.
Does not work
I have been using this since MARCH and nothing... Still have the same amount of hair and I have light skin and dark brown hair. I even tried going over the same area two or three times and using twice a week to three times a week and still have growth. Waste of money. I am so disappointed.
Don't waste your money
I've been using this religiously for 14 weeks and haven't noticed any difference. I have light skin tone and dark hair so based on their chart I should be able to get results.
Waste of time
i don't even know where to begin. i tried this out for about 2 months and didnt notice big changes. if anything, it's made the hairs on some areas of my body less coarse? ended up returning! if youre looking for something more permanent, i suggest getting actual laser hair removal done by a professional. you think you're saving money by getting an at home IPL product but you are not. i hope ulta actually posts this review because i've noticed others on here seem sponsored. it all just seems a little off...
