Worst eyeliner ever!! Each time I sharpen the liner, the pencil breaks off during sharpening!!!! Every time!!!

I asked the sales girl for a recommendation, and she suggested this. my first impression was great! it glided on smoothly and looked great. a couple of hours outside on a warm (not quite "hot") day, and it just melted onto my upper eyelid. I've never experienced that with eyeliner like that. I will probably throw away the rest of this mostly full pencil. or maybe save it for cold wintertime?

The gel looks cool, dark, gorgeously pigmented. It feels smooth and soft on the eyelid and the lower lashline. It doesn't appear to be smooshy or flattening after use. I like the thick crayon application. My problem is the lasting quality. It fades after just a few hours. I haven't used gel eyeliner before so this is my first time, and I can tell that gel eyeliners aren't smudge-proof like liquid eyeliners. Considering that I simply wanted to have a gel formula to test, I'm happy to have just tried it on its own and will go about layering a liquid gel on top. This is a playful makeup item that enhances any kind of eye look! I wanted to do makeup on someone and bought this for that purpose. I believe it's beginner-friendly and lovely to look at!
