I have oily/combination skin in hot/humid Texas
I cleanse my face, use moisturizer, eye cream and let that settle into my face for minimum an hour before putting this primer on and then wait 10 minutes before I put my foundation on. I have tried so many primers..and so many foundations.. all say they have staying power (wont crease or get cakey)...

The Forever Velvet Veil goes on smoothly and definitely helps my makeup stay set all day. The only thing I don't like is that the formula changes the hue of my skintone on my face. Got this because I wanted some light coverage that would blur pores and down the face-shine factor a bit and didn't have a heavy or fake-looking finish. This primer does that job very well. It is very slightly drying, as most matte make-up products are, but a little lotion underneath fixed that issue for me. I love how natural it looks and its so light and comfortable that it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything at all. I haven't had any irritation with this product or broken out, and it helps to tone down some of the redness on my face so it's less noticeable. One pump is enough to do my whole face and neck area, so this bottle should last me a long time. Will definitely repurchase this

This blurs my skin and mattifies without being dry. It's smooth and creamy texture feels good going on. I've only used it with Dior foundations so far. I'm sure it will work well under any foundation.

I trust Dior completely. I can waste a lot of tie and money trying other products like this, but why? If it is Dior you know that it is good. I never did like foundation, this is a wonderful new invention. Perfect for me.
