Do you notice any broken or chipped pieces? If the plastic piece is fine slowly line up the grooves on the head and device and twist until you hear a click. The shaver will last one and a half to two years if you keep the head clean after each use and change batteries as needed. The new head has stronger blades that last longer. Depending on how often you use it (and keep it clean, use before lotions and serums) will depend on how long those blades last. Im surprised !! This little gadget really does get rid of unwanted fuzz. Ive noticed it shaves off fuzz better than thicker hairs. When I emptied the chamber and saw how much fuzz accumulated, thats when I realized this gadget works. The LED light isnt much help. But, its a nice extra touch if ...

I don't I would buy this product or recommend it to others.
It doesn't get all the hair and the jwaline is worse. Now my face and chin is full of bumps and irritating ingrown hair.

Works great!
This worked great. It was very gentle, didn't irritate my skin, and the light it emits was perfect for helping to see up close. Wish I'd bought this sooner.
Not Effective
A previous flawless model I had suddenly started grabbing my short chin hairs so hard that it was painful and torturous to use, while the blade mechanism on a second flawless model collapsed completely and like humpty dumpty, it was impossible to put together again. On this model, the blade is extremely dull and requires simultaneous deep pushing and rotating into the skin in order to get fairly decent hair removal. By the next day, you can already see and feel stubble. Of note, this product makes the hairs grow back thicker and wild.

I bought this last year cause my old one i had went out and I actually got it from ulta it was different but I had it for years.. and then my brother try it and liked so he took it and then I bought a new one cause I needed one. This never left any redness for me and I do have sensitive skin... everyone's skin is different so for me it worked! I would repurchase this in the future!!
