Didn't work for me
These are nice looking, sturdy clips they just didn't work for me. They grab real well toward the back of the clip but my hair fell out toward the front. It does not have the depth to hold alot of hair, definitely could not do a twist and pin up like with regular claw clip. They do work well if you ...

These clips are a bit large for my thin hair. I should have looked closer at the description. However, they are beautifully made, and I love the flat clips Kitsch offers. The butterfly clips hurt while driving. Overall, I have been very pleased with all Kitsch products.

Love these clips. I accidentally posted this positive review for the shorter/ round clip, which actually didn't work as well (slipped out of my fine hair). THESE are the clips that work for my hair (not the shorter/ rounder ones, which fell out). If you have fine hair, and want a long, flat-lying clip for messy buns and such, this is what you want! I love that I can wear it while driving, leaning back on a chaise or sofa, and the clip doesn't get in the way!

This does not hold up hair. I'm surprised it has such great reviews. It holds up half the hair from the one side you start clipping up but the other side just completely falls loose. Useless. A shame because it's cute.

I bought these to keep one in my tiny purse so that when I go to a restaurant I can pull my hair back while I eat. Since they are flat they fit nicely in a pretty compact bag and seem less likely to break teeth off like a normal claw clip.
Doesn't pull on my scalp
No headaches! Unlike alligator clips, this is perfect for a sinple twist and secure. No yanking against my scalp and feeling like its pulling my hair out.
