Did not live up to the hype
For background, I've used Maybelline Fit Me for my fair, combination skin (minimal acne and some fine lines but overall I'm very careful with my skin) for over 5 years. But, I wanted to explore other options to see if a higher quality brand and formula might be worth it. I don't love Fit Me, but it's worked well enough. Decided to give this foundation a shot after lots of research and luckily got it on sale. But, it…was terrible. I followed the instructions, tried using it with my normal routine (after clean skin, exfoliation, sunscreen, lotion, base layer), then tried suggestions found online. Nothing worked—I kept looking cakey and so dry. The color was OK but slightly orange undertones left me uneasy wearing it on top of the application issues. I would honestly return the product if I hadn't throw the box away. I've never ran into this much of an issue with foundation before!

something definitely changed with this formula and I'm so disappointed. I have an old bottle from a few years back that I wanted to replace, but the difference in performance is wild. It used to be amazing for oil control and now it breaks up so easily, something it never did before. doublewear is the only foundation I used until now and I wanted to use it forever!
