Using fingertips, sponge or foundation brush, smooth over skin. Start at center of face and blending outward. Add a little more to build it as a full coverage foundation.

Since fingertips is not a preference, try shaking well first and applying your foundation one section at at time. It has the same neutral undertone as 3N1 Ivory Beige and it is a half-shade darker. If you need a little more color, go with Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Foundation in 4N1 Shell Beige. It is a full-shade darker. Foundation is not full coverage and is super watery. Switching back to my Tarte Facetape.
Why did EL ruin a good thing
I have been using this foundation for too many years to count. I have always loved the formula, staying power and finish. But, sadly the formula has changed. My face feels tight and dry, it no longer has the smooth finish it one did and what was one perfect looks orange....no I haven't changed color or technique in applying. As I recall this same situation happened a few years ago when the formula changed and it was not better. It has happened again, those new to the brand may not notice but us that are faithful do. Please return it to the original and put the sunscreen back in. Such a disappointment
