Start by trimming nails into desired shape with the nail clipper. Starting at the corners and clipping toward the center.
Shape and smooth nail edges with nail files. Start from the side of the nail, and in one direction, file towards the center.
Use the coarser 180-grit surface to shape nails. Also great for sanding and filing acrylic nails. Use the finer 240-grit surface to smooth nail edges.
Tool Care: Clippers: Clean clipper blades after each use. Wipe clean with alcohol wipe or peroxide.
Nail Files: Replace nail files after three months of regular use.

It's sharpy enough to trimmed my nails ad it's convenient to carry on a trip. I think it would be perfect if it comes with tweezer in one package. So far it's such a cute idea for a gift.

This is a super cute set. It comes with two nail files and nail clippers. Both the files and clippers work well. I am picky about files, these are coarse enough without being too coarse. I recommend this set for any Disney or Aristocat's fan.

I love the nail clippers. They feel indestructible. I'm used to getting the basic $3-5 nail clippers and they have always worked just fine. But these feel like serious business compared to those. It feels like it could be twice as heavy and twice as sharp. And you can tell that it's not going to blunt anytime soon. Plus there is a. Adorable engraving of one of the aristocats on the top and a cute bow on the other side. The only thing is that it doesn't have a mini file/nail pick, but that's fine. As for the emory boards, they're fine. They're very cute and pretty good. I personally use glass files and these don't compare, but compared to other emory boards, they work better than average. They're more like a cute add-on, while the clippers are the star.

Great nail files and clippers. They work well on my natural nails. And the Aristocats theme is perfect for Disney fans. Definitely recommend, and they make the perfect gift or stocking stuffer.
