Holo Taco Crème Nail Polish

I recently purchased Thyme After Thyme, Peri-Social and Everything Taco -- but I'm just going to stick to reviewing the Cremes for this one. I am not new to the brand, but this was my first time purchasing Cremes from Holo Taco. I love the quality of their specialty polishes and toppers, so I figured I would love their cremes as well. However, I was slightly disappointed with how difficult it was to work with and I'm not a beginner by any means. These cremes are THICK -- and I mean VERY thick. Plus, with how wide their brushes are, it was literally impossible for me to NOT get polish on my skin, which really isn't the biggest deal as I use a clean-up brush anyway. I knew I was going to need some thinner from the jump, I just didn't realize how much. I usually only add about 5 drops at a time before checking to see if it's the right consistency....I needed 20 drops just to get it somewhat thinner and I still wasn't happy. Thankfully, this polish self levels out really well otherwise it would have been a disaster lol. The color was beautiful. Coverage was amazing -- I honestly probably could have gotten away with just one coat. Peri-Social wasn't AS thick as TAT, but still definitely thicker than any other brand I've tried before. I cannot stress how beautiful these two shades are though! Overall, I'm pretty happy with the purchase, although I'm not sure if I'll continue purchasing any additional cremes from HT, as I do prefer mine to be on the thinner side. I also feel like there are other brands out there at the same price point (or cheaper) that have similar, if not identical shade dupes -- and I won't have to add a ton of thinner to use them. However, if you're someone who prefers a thicker creme and/or doesn't mind having to add a bunch of thinner to a new polish, you may love these! The quality is great -- longevity wise, I haven't had any issues with chipping or anything like that and I'm currently on day 7 of wearing Thyme After Thyme. Happy Painting!

Never tried Holo Taco until now, but the cremes are absolutely amazing! It sets down beautifully so you get such a smooth top and the color is quite gorgeous as well! I'm very happy with my experience with this brand and I am lookjng forward to trying other colors and finishes in the future!

I bought this just to try. It is honestly the best polish i have ever used!!! It has lasted 5 days so far, and it still looks amazing. The clear coat has lasted as well, and my nails still are shiny! I would definitely buy this again. It will be my go to!

I'm on the fence with this polish. I purchased the creme polish in Peri-Social, and it says it's a periwinkle color, which it definitely is not, more of a baby blue, which looks terrible. The polish dries quickly, but even after a top coat it has a matte finish and looks sort of dull, not what I was looking for. It's also fairly thick and requires a little more practice at getting it just right. Perhaps, other colors are better?

I have used many different brands of nail polish in my life and I'm a big nai polish person! Lol, you see my nail polish collection haha! Anyway, I bought 2 shades from this brand cause I've never tried it and I wanted to try it. I saw good reviews about it son that's why I got 2 shades. Yeah these are THR WORST nail polish I've ever used. I tried to make it work by cutting the bristles thinner cause it is way too wide and u get polish on the skin no matter what! So, I got that done and then it worked better. Then while I was trying to put it on my nails, it was WAYYYY TOO DRY! OMG! It would dry up so fast before I would get done! So patchy, dry and just not smooth whatsoever! Save your money and buy another brand which would be better than this one hands down!
