I was counting the Chanel fragrances I was using (or still am) throughout the years and I believe this is my 11th or 12th one (from the chance line, Gabrielle, Allure, Mademoiselle) and this one has always been under my radar, never thought about purchasing. As a matter of fact I was always eyeing the Coco EDT which IMO is way more stronger, spicier and longer lasting- I loved it but every time I would try it at the store it lingered for too long, cloying and just being THERE. I thought the perfume version would be even stronger but I was completely wrong! This perfume is THE most elegant, smooth, sensual, creamy scent and truly there is a reason why it's been on the market for so long. A masterpiece- not vintage smelling, just a 'lady's scent'. It's gorgeous- I recommend you try it next time you're in the store. Be mindful not to overspray because then it becomes too strong and loses its beauty. I spray once on each collarbone (6" away) and once on the back of my neck. I wear a longer bob so the ends of my hair catch on the mist and send whiffs every time I move my head. It smells fantastic! You will feel 'old money' rich wearing this ;)
