This scent-free facial mist is really hydrating and refreshing, and I love how it helps my makeup apply more smoothly. I especially like the mister which has a great mist (rare in most prepping/setting sprays!) but I wouldn't say that apart from those things, the formula/product is exceptional or a must buy. At the end of the day, it's mostly water so if your current makeup and skincare routine already incorporates products within hyaluronic acid, this product won't do much more for you. It's a fun product for your makeup routine but definitely not essential.

This is my new favorite step to my skin care routine. It has Hypochlorous Acid which helps reduce redness, irritation, and clears your skin. I have acne prone skin with lots of scars. This helps when my face is inflamed and brings down the redness. I use it after washing my face before I apply any other skin care. I will also use it during the day when I need a refresher. I feel comfortable with the ingredients and there is no scent.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. The Milani Clean Start Prep Step is a decent mist that provides adequate hydration. It does have a noticeable fragrance, which isn't my personal preference, though it's mild and not overpowering. I received a travel-sized version and will continue using it for that purpose, but I don't plan to repurchase once it's finished.
