I bought the Aveeno Oat Cleanser hoping it would be a gentle daily cleanser, but unfortunately, it didn't work for my skin. After a few days of use, I started noticing small breakouts all over my face. It didn't feel harsh or drying, but it just didn't agree with my skin at all. I really wanted to love it because the texture felt nice and it's marketed as calming, but it actually made things worse for me. If you're acne-prone, I'd recommend patch testing first.

This cleanser is very very gentle, a little too gentle, where it makes you question if it's actually cleaning your face or not. I'm pretty sure it made me breakout in whiteheads because it wasn't removing my sunscreen effectively. This cleanser might be better for only AM use, when you need a lighter cleanse, this definitely would not take your makeup off.
