When I first spray this, I immediately recognize the familiar, high-quality Bleu DNA, but it's like seeing an old friend in a tailored, dark-gray suit instead of a light blue polo. The citrus opening is subdued—it's not the bright, zesty splash of the EDT or EDP. Instead, it's a polished lemon peel that quickly melts away to make room for the stars of the show: the deep woods and amber. The mid and dry-down are where the "Exclusif" really earns its name. The core is a dense, creamy sandalwood anchored by a rich, resinous cistus labdanum. This labdanum is what brings in the subtle, sensual leathery/smoky dimension that everyone talks about. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. This my new favorite cologne, my wife is a huge fan and i think i will he using it for the remainder of the fall and winter season. Very woody and warm feeling but not overpowering.
