Dry & too harsh sensitive skin
After a few uses my skin became very red, irritated and swollen. I have sensitive skin and the same thing happened with Bare Minerals makeup. The makeup also was very dry and flaking 5 hours after applying.

Yes... it's thick. But it's thick because it has zinc as the sunscreen. My dermatologist recommends zinc as it's a physical barrier from the sun vs chemical ones I had been using with other products. I find that tapping it on to the skin is helpful or adding a drop of the face oil helps. I've also added a drop or two of the moisturizer and it's helpful. Coverage is just a small tint and blends well with the concealer. I add the foundation powder and get amazing coverage for any monthly acne. LOVE this product and LOVE that it's EWG certified. I know that I'm using a clean product that is good for my skin and toxin free!
Dry Skin Dry Climate
If you have dry skin and live in the desert I 100% recommend this. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid are just going to pull the moisture out of your skin if there is no water in the air. This will lock it in and keep your makeup from looking dry and gross. It looks like I just have great skin and I'm not wearing anything and it lasts all day for me.
Weirdly thick and sticky

I really wanted to love this product... I'm not too fond of full coverage, but I wanted something to soothe my redness and provide sun protection. This does the job, but it doesn't do it well. The product is hard to distribute across the skin. It's weirdly sticky/chalky and does not like to spread. I didn't get burnt when I wore it, but I don't think I would buy this again... love some of their other products though!
a good match and feel!
It goes on thick and very light coverage BUT it blurs out unevenness and gives a glow. SPF, done. It felt sticky for 5-10 min (which is my biggest dealbreaker for mineral sunscreen, tinted or not) and then settled into this light velvety feel. I'm sure it would be a great base for foundation too. For reference, if you ever used laura mercier tinted, I used to wear the Nude shade and I bought a 3N here with Bio Tint. The color works on me right now but I'll for sure go a shade darker if I get even slightly tan in the sun.
