Interesting concept, awesome ingredients

First of all I need to put into perspective how much of a mascara enthusiast I am to get the perfect lashes: I use two mascaras for my upper lashes and then a completely different one for my lower lashes (so a total of three different mascaras). My lashes are medium long but barely visible so I need... a good amount of black coat to get them visible. They also have a mind of their own. I comb my lashes to part them, will then use a volume mascara for the top lashes followed by a lengthening mascara. That's been my holy grail for 15 years now. I was really excited to try this mascara as it has two in one brush. One side of the brush is bushy and arched which gives it a bit more volume and the other side is straight with spaced apart bristles to define the lashes and lengthen them. I loved this concept because that's essentially what I am always doing with two different mascaras. However, if you look in a mirror it's tough to turn the mascara in a way that your lashes perfectly hit the side you want to use. This was especially an issue for my left side because of the way I turn my hand when I move the mascara brush to my eye. It doesn't work as well as intended or I just need more practice. I did like that there isn't too much product on the brushes. A lot of the times when you start using a new mascara I don't like how much product will come out at first. Now what I actually like the most about this product is not the mascara brush (although unique and interesting) but the ingredients! The first five ingredients contain beeswax, jojober esters and olive oil. I love that unlike most other mascaras I can actually pronounce the ingredients (less chemicals in this one). Overall I love the concept and ingredients I am just not sure whether I need more practice or whether my lashes just don't like the formula or shape of the brushes. They didn't look as long as with my usual technique and looked more like spider arms (you know what I mean, just not very defined).
