Coral red color "Infatuation"

This review is for the coral red color "infatuation." There are so many vegan long-wearing lipsticks now, I wish Jane would figure out how to make one. I try every orangey red in Every brand. I am always chasing a version of Mac "Lady Danger" cuz I hate that Mac tests on animals. Kat Von D brand wor...ks the best but she discontinued the orangey red of course. Since jane's ingredients are great, I tried every way to make this work. I put this on dry lips, on top of the jane iredale colorless version of their lip stain, and on top of the forever red version of the lip stain. If you apply to dry lips it comes off immediately - like cracks off. if you put it over colorless stain it will never look evenly opaque. Putting it on top of forever red lip stain was the best result. The problem with it is that it never sets. If you press your lips together it takes color away and makes it uneven. When I applied it over forever red I tried to not touch my lips together for like as long as I could until it felt dry. You cannot blot it, you cannot touch your lips to each other - it almost immediately turns into an opaque line around your lips and towards the mouth- the middle of the lips the color thins immediately. It's honestly one of the worst most pointless lipsticks I have ever tried I don't know who this is working for? The color is gorgeous, so it's really tragic. In general, I find the the lip stain to be the only good lip product jane makes and I usually put it on top of long wear lipsticks that do work, or wear it during the day. Even that product turns into a weird stain mostly on the line of the lips that is hard to remove. For it to be normal I would I have to exfoliate my lips every time I reapply which is really impractical. I wish I could return this.
