A cozy scent, the notes hit just right! A little goes a long way. Definitely a winter scent, I think it would feel a bit heavy in summer.
Like a breath of fresh, alpine air
This is one of thr most unique fragrances in my collection. Very woodsy and cold but has a sweet base of praline and vanilla that comes through here and there. Can easily be worn by both me and my husband. Lingevity surprised me for being a 'natural' fragrance. I get about 4-5 hours before having to reapply.
For those with skin sensitivities
I suddenly developed allergies / skin sensitivity over the last few years... I had to give up anything perfume-wise since everything seem to break me out into a rash, redness, or such. After some research I found Ellis Brooklyn!! I started out with Myth as my evening scent, but when they sent me a sample for Apres, I immediately switched. Apres has a perfect balance of not-so-heavy / not-too-musky cedar and spice (I still like Myth, but always felt it was overpowering for the first hour of wear). I dislike the terms, but for description's sake, I'll mention that Apres has a masculine feel (which is my preference for evening wear). If you're looking for bright daytime scents, check out Sweet or Bee.
