Cleanse your skin as you normally would before using the Acne Treatment Bar. Work the bar into a lather in your hands. Spread lather over the entire affected area, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry. Use once daily and gradually increase to twice per day if needed, or as directed by your dermatologist.
Precautions: For external use only. Do not use if you have very sensitive skin are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. When using this product skin irritation may occur, characterized by redness, burning, itching, peeling, or possibly swelling. Irritation may be reduced by using the product less frequently or in a lower concentration. Skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical acne medication at the same time. If irritation occurs, only use one topical acne medication at a time. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, and mouth. Avoid contact with hair and dyed fabrics, which may be bleached by this product Stop use and ask a doctor if irritation becomes severe. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

So it's a pretty decent product. Lathers well and it is fragrance free. It is a very gentle exfoliator. Compared to other exfoliating products by Panoxyl, it is pretty tame, which I appreciate. I'm not a big fan of bar soap for your face and unfortunately this one is no exception. There's no scent and it leaves your skin sticky and dry so I didn't like it. I think it's definitely a personal choice.

I'm ceacea from WA, and my overall experience using PanOxyl Cleansing Bar was a pleasant one. I like that this product is effective and cleared up my acne. Also affordable is very important too. It lathers nicely and feels soft but not stripping of my skins batural oils. I actually recommend this product.

While I do feel clean after using this item, I'm not sure this actually works. My acne did not go away, but it also didnt appear to me irritate my skin or the current acne. I will continue to use the item and see if it helps.
