I really wanted to like this, and I followed all the instructions given of washing (clarifying) applying this and washing and conditioning. Well, I have to say for my natural silvers, my hair felt like straw while rinsing, and was drier than normal upon styling.

Despite high hopes based on influencer recommendations, this Redken pre-shampoo treatment was a major disappointment. I was promised a complete transformation after just one use, but experienced the opposite effect. My hair was actually in much better condition BEFORE using this product. I had only slightly dry ends, but overall my hair was healthy and manageable. However, after following the instructions precisely, this treatment left my hair extremely dry and unmanageable - even after applying conditioner and leave-in products afterward. Blow-drying became nearly impossible as my hair would break when using a round brush. Even worse, after completing my blowout, my hair would get increasingly frizzy and puffy throughout the day, refusing to hold any style. The product was so problematic that I had to wash my hair the very next day, completely disrupting my usual three-day washing routine. I gave the product a second chance, but unfortunately experienced the same negative results both times. Given the premium price point and small bottle size, I cannot recommend this product. I should have trusted my gut and continued using the products that were already working well for me. I'm happy with my regular hair care routine and regret being swayed to try something new. Lesson learned: I'll be more skeptical of influencer recommendations in the future and rely on my own research instead.
