Bad Chemical Fruit Smell but Works GREAT!

I love CurlSmith products but really don't like their scents. I have tried almost all their products over the past year or two and the scents are strong and don't dissipate over the day(s) so if you like fake fruity smells you are in luck. The purple line has the loudest scents and the orange the so...ftest but you will see in my recipe below that they work so well I grit my teeth and tolerate the scent unpleasantness. This brand otherwise makes some of the best curly products out there so I keep coming back hoping they will expand the unscented line (unscented Bond Curl Rehab Salve please, please!). I have spent untold money on curl products (from fancy natural to drugstore to fanciest salon) trying to get a decent curl pattern but nothing has really worked consistently until this company taught me about my fine curls. The line has amazing tutorials and curl care particularly for my type of 3a and 3b very fine fragile curls which I have struggled with all my life. Learning to clarify every few weeks and stay away from heavy creams and conditioners except after a protein treatment has been lifechanging. I did have to do a partial chop to get rid of several years of keratin treated hair since previously I couldn't find a way to get a decent curl pattern and fought constant cotton candy hair all fluff and frizz and little definition. I tried Hair Story in various combination for 3 years with terrible results (but they have amazing natural scents!). Post chop I have found a CurlSmith recipe that really works consistently for my hair: I wash every 3-4 days with either Fragrance Free Gentle shine-enhancing shampoo SHINE SHAMPOO OR Gentle moisturizing co-wash depending on whether I need moisture I usually use the co-wash Then I use Fragrance Free Lightweight leave-in conditioner SHINE CREAM a little dab on wet hair then let it dry partway and rub and few more squirts in. I tried almost every cream and jelly from this brand and this Shine Cream was the best for my hair. I do sometimes coat little Oloplex 3 in place of a gel on the top layers and ends when almost dry. I have tried all the CurlSmith gels and on my head they keep my hair from drying and then cause frizz no matter how many tutorials I watch. I use the clarifying shampoo once every two weeks or so there is a anti stripping serum I bought to go with it but not sure if it's worth it or if it does anything to save my ends. They both smell like very strong chemical fruit. Yuck! But works well. Exfoliating Clarifying Shampoo WASH & SCRUB DETOX SHAMPOO Finally, once a month or so when my hair starts acting hopeless and frizzy and loses it's curl pattern like the beforetimes,I use the bond rehab for an hour, wash it off and use the cream quencher for an hour and my hair comes back to life Hair Bond Repair Treatment BOND CURL REHAB SALVE DOUBLE CREAM DEEP QUENCHER Thank you CurlSmith!
