- Official Answer By OrlyHi, after wearing Nail Defense for 3-4 days, remove with polish remover and reapply. You can also use Nail Defense as a basecoat and topcoat.Was this answer helpful to you

This is helping my nails
I had fake nails for over 13 years. I have a very hard time with peeling and soft nails. It is very difficult for polish to stay on my nails. This product seems to be working better than anything else I have tried.

Did not work for me
When it comes to soft. weak, peeling nails that split and break easily, I have had a lifetime sentence. The BEST clear polish
I chose Orly Nail Defense since my finger nails tend to be more brittle or chippy in cold months. This polish can be used as base coat and top coat. It lasts for a couple weeks.
Chemo nails
I bought this to use while I undergo chemo. Some potential side effects are peeling, splitting and lifting nails. I have used this product twice a week since I started treatment and have had zero nail issues. The smell is a little odd.
Disappointed
The bottle broke when I started opening the package. The whole top just broke in my hand making a huge mess!!
