I love this product. The powder does explode everywhere, but it's amazing to set and cover concealer. It's much cheaper and works well

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics High Definition Powder:

I hate splurging on Powder because I'm a makeup artist with Oily skin, so I use powder daily to set my liquid foundation, it's a must, I don't go without it. The technique I've found that works best for me is to use a damp beauty blender and heavily apply powder to my entire face, beginning with areas that crease to prevent creasing. Then I go back and swirl what ever's leftover in the lid onto my face and blend onto my neck. Then I take a clean brush and dust off any excess. I use A LOT of powder, but this is the only method that keeps me as oily free as possible. Because of this routine I go through powder like crazy and refuse to pay over $10 for it (unless it's Ben Nye Banana Powder!). I previously used elf's high definition powder in translucent, but as of lately while it's still been effective I've definitely noticed that it hasn't been as finely milled as previously and unfortunately the bottom of my last 4 containers have contained little balls of product, like powder solids. For whatever reason, I could never find elf's yellow powder in stores, so I never tried it. I gave up on elf, tried other brands, found a few that worked ok, but hated paying the more expensive price for a lesser product. One day at Ulta, low and behold they had the yellow elf powder. It's definitely brighter than Ben Nye's Banana Powder, and despite being just as finely milled, I feel like its a dryer powder, whereas ben nye was soft and luxurious. Nonetheless, it works incredibly well. It camouflages my pores, brightens my skin tone and helps neutralize pink based foundations. My undertone is yellow, but i find that pink based shades are more accurately matched to my actual skin color and look less muddy., but the tone is off. The powder fixed that completely. As long as the formula stays the same, I'll be buying only this from now on.

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics High Definition Powder:

Translucent - I am not crazy about the texture of this product. I find lots of particles are way too big and not as powdery as I would like. After applying, I have to dust the larger particles off my face, which is disappointing because I love the undereye setting powder so much. I know this is a budget product but the consistency seems very low quality. Since it's more of a setting powder there is not much coverage, so I won't comment on that. It does do a good job at mattifying and does not clog pores. I will not buy this again.

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics High Definition Powder:

This product is fantastic. Great price point. I used to use it all over the face, and it worked fine for that in the translucent shade. Now I just use it for baking under the eyes and other key points. Keeps makeup fresh all day long, even in hot summer weather. Doesn't cake up. I will continue to purchase. The only thing is that the new package redesign isn't my favorite, and it no longer includes a powder puff which is disappointing.

Comments about e.l.f. Cosmetics High Definition Powder:

This product is just average to me. The "corrective yellow" tends to make my under-eyes look sallow, and it doesn't really sink into the skin. It just sits on top of my skin, but it does keep my concealer from creasing so I can't be too mad.

translucent - This powder is amazing for the price! Much better than NYX one, and can be compared to IT Pores no more! Great quality, covers well, stays well. I had to return the more expensive Laura Mercier . Kat Von D and bare minerals as those look more ashy and do not compare at all!
soft luminance - unfortunately that one is too sparkly, had to return it

I love this setting powder. I have the sheer color. After applying all my face makeup I use this to set and my foundation looks so flawless. It gives you a matte look but still natural dewy glow. I let it bake for at least 2-3min, the longer the better. The product lasts a long time and is very affordable. My makeup stays in place all day even in this hot summer weather!

I love this powder! This is the 2nd one i buy of these. I think its better than my IT bye bye pores powder. It is light and does not feel cakey. It sets my foundation and makes pores look minimized. I'm 53 yeats old so this is important to me.
