Comments about Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion:

It gets kind of annoying when it drips down all over your face when trying to apply it but overall, this does what it is supposed to. I have noticed that my little bumps have been really reduced/gone away in 4 days. Make sure that you moisturize heavily because it will dry out the areas you apply it to!

Comments about Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion:

I love this stuff. I have only used it maybe 4 or 5 times and it has helped so much! I noticed a difference after one use. I also use the drying lotion with it bc I already had it. they are amazing together. I was hesitant to buy bc it's a little pricey but I am so happy I bought it.

Comments about Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion:

I haven't really seen improvements since purchasing this product about a month ago. I guess if you have a zit that you need to dry out it could work, but it seems to burn my skin (I have pretty sensitive skin). Application is kind of weird too because it is a liquid rather than a "lotion" as it is advertised.

I was breaking out on my temples and I have tried ema lot of products. I read all the good reviews from The buffering lotion so I said let's try it, and also i like Mario Badescu because their products are not as harsh as other commercial brands. I applied it day and night for a week, and now only at night. My temples are completely clear now.

I got a very big cyst right in the middle of my face around New Years (great, right?) and bought the buffering lotion on a whim, and am SO glad I did! Though it wasn't gone overnight, the lotion cut the healing time in half and even kept the scarring at minimum. Though I haven't gotten one since that all-mighty cyst, I would 100% recommend this product!

Dramatically reduced the swelling and redness of cystic acne along my jawline without irritation. It is very watery when it comes out so I find it difficult for it to apply without getting in my cuticles and drying them out.

Comments about Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion:

This was so worth the money. I have cystic acne and especially around my cycle I have the worst bumps deep under my skin along my jaw and chin. You can't see them but they hurt and I hate feeling them. Bought this after reading a few reviews and because I love the rose facial spray. This was probably the best money I ever spent on an acne treatment. You only need a drop to cover an area and over a couple days I have noticed such a huge difference in my skin. Some bumps have completely dissolved and others have surfaced and then dried up with this treatment applied. Cannot tell you how much I love this product. I will be trying other products in this line. I feel so much more confident and better about my skin

I tend to get large under-the-skin pimples on my chin every once in a while and nothing seemed to really work. I bought this product along with the drying lotion a few days ago and it arrived yesterday evening. After one overnight application I can tell you that I am thrilled to have found this product. Like most people I'm a bit skeptical whenever someone claims that a product can work miracles overnight but this product did. I highly recommend it!

Do you think this could help with razor bumps or ingrown hairs at all? My boyfriend get really painful bumps all over his neck and I was just wondering if this could make the swelling from them go down so they don't hurt as badly.

Buffering Lotion should not be used to treat or prevent ingrown hairs. Buffering Lotion is specifically designed to treat large, deep, cystic acne.

We recommend that our Drying Lotion only be used on whiteheads. Our Buffering Lotion is designed to specifically target those large, under the surface bumps.

I currently use a vitamin C and E serum morning and night and it has completely changed my complexion, cleared up my zits and stopped them from appearing. However, the cystic acne is starting to come and will not go. I am interested in purchasing this product, can I still use it with the vitamin c and d serum or does it have to be on its own?

                      A:

Do not apply anything over the Buffering Lotion (such as moisturizer or serum). Do not use this as a preventative product; it should only be used when necessary on active blemishes. I would suggest you "zone" the serums and the Buffering Lotion accordingly. To maximize the effectiveness of the Buffering Lotion, you can pair it with our Drying Mask. Apply a few drops of Buffering Lotion to affected areas under a thin layer of our Drying Mask. After 15 minutes, rinse off, tone, and follow with another application of the Buffering Lotion.

Buffering Lotion will work to diminish the actual cystic bumps but will not address skin discoloration. Once you are no longer experiencing active breakouts, our Brightening Kit is a great option to gently help reduce minor skin discolorations. http://www.ulta.com/brightening-kit?productId=xlsImpprod11351443

Always start with a fresh clean face and avoid putting any moisturizers or night creams on the areas that you have applied the Buffering Lotion to. 2-3 times a week, as an added spot treatment, you can apply a few drops of Buffering Lotion to affected areas under a thin layer of our DRYING MASK. I have the drying mask and it's not quite getting rid of my spots - they're primarily whiteheads or closed comedones. I was wondering whether I should use this Buffering Lotion underneath the drying mask every night.

Also, the drying mask has been really drying out my skin so I don't want to purchase the drying lotion.

The Buffering Lotion is formulated to help treat deep, cystic acne. The Drying Lotion is formulated to help clear whiteheads that have already come to the surface of the skin. You can use both products each night on the different types of pimples, but you should not use both on the same area.

Apply a few drops of our Buffering Lotion on affected areas under the Drying Mask to create a more intensive treatment for troubled skin. After 15-20 minutes, remove mask and rinse well. Follow with toner and re-apply a few drops of our Buffering Lotion on those affected areas.
