Which components of the brush (e.g. handle, bristles) are plastic, and what types of plastic are they, and are they recycled? If there are significant plastic components, is the company considering any alternatives (e.g. wooden handle) in the future?

Okay but doesn't get all the knots out
A little confused using this brush, I have straight hair for context. I was looking for a new brush because the cheap ones Ive been using have been pulling out my hair unnecessarily. This brush makes my hair look more smoothe and doesnt pull my hair out as much. But it is impossible to get all the knots out. Which the cheap brushes actually do. I brush my hair for so long with this brush and I cannot get the knots out in the sides and back.
Could be ok?
My hair is far too thick for this brush. Maybe it's supposed to be used on very small sections of hair? Plus side is it makes blow drying my medium length haired dog easier.

If you have fine hair that tangles easily and knots up especially during blow drying, and you cringe because you feel like your hair is constantly breaking, this is THE brush for you. For the past couple years or so I have use the vented Wet brushes, the round brush for blow drying and paddle brush for regular brushing. They marketed as less breakage/blow dry time but my hair did not agree and pulled like crazy. My hair has always been long and healthy, even with regular salon highlights, but it is thinning and it's either because of my age (33) or because of those brushes. I never should have used them for this long but I know most people, even my hairdresser swears by them. Well, the first time I used this boar bristle brush from Fromm, it was like a miracle and my hair didn't pull at all! At first I thought it wasn't even brushing because I couldn't even feel it AT ALL. it's THAT gentle y'all! Fine hair friends, BUY IT NOW.
