Q
I have celiac disease. Is Biolage gluten free?
Asked by RL
Official Answer By Biolage - Brand Engage
Hi! Thank you for your interest in the Biolage Volume Bloom Conditioner! Most ingredients derived from grain sources are highly refined and retain no traces of gluten proteins. For less refined ingredients from natural sources, Biolage has established strict limits on the level of potentially allergenic proteins. Since individuals exhibit a wide range of sensitivities to these proteins, if you have any questions or concerns you should discuss with your medical care provider. All the ingredients we use in a product are listed on the package or the label of the product itself. For products too small to accommodate the list, a separate ingredient list is available on the display unit in the store for your convenience. Since some ingredients are known by more than one name, we use the standard industry FDA-recognized names. A review of the ingredients that are listed on all of our products or packages will alert you to the presence of this type of ingredient. Was this answer helpful to you

My New Favorite!

I always thought it was normal for a person to lose 50 to 100 hairs per day, so when I cleared the "hair spider" from the shower trap each day I didn't panic. I was wrong! It may be normal, but since I've changed to VolumeBloom Shampoo and Condition, not only do I no longer have "hair spiders," I ...

Too heavy

I bought this because I couldn't find the Biolage detangling conditioner at JCPenney. Very disappointed because it weighs my hair down and makes it hard to comb. Will not buy again. The shampoo version for fine hair is ok. I've used Biolage products for many years and have been happy until now.

This is my first time trying this line. Read lots of reviews & decided to give it a try, I like what it's doing so far. Doesn't make my hair feel weighted down or greasy. It does give volume to my hair. My hair is thin but there's a lot of it. I'm also color treated & can't tell if it's messing with my color or not. I'll keep using unless something else happens

I have fine, color treated hair and I use the Biolage Volume Shampoo. I thought adding the Conditioner would help but unfortunately the Conditioner was very thin, almost watery and not at all moisturizing. Left my hair frizzy and brittle feeling. I need a Conditioner that is a little more moisturizing. The scent is the same as the rest of the products. I will be returning this.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

I love the way this conditioner smells and feels in my hair. It makes my hair super soft and helps combat frizz, especially when I use a wet brush to brush it into my hair. I would definitely buy this conditioner again, and I would totally recommend it to a friend.
