Valentino Uomo is a top tier cologne that deserves a spot on any man's cologne shelf. Here's why I love it: * It's Classic with a Twist: This scent is sophisticated and mature, but not stuffy. It's perfect for a night out, a work event, or even just a casual day. Overall, Valentino Uomo is a top-notch cologne that smells amazing and has decent staying time or staying power. If you're looking for a sophisticated and versatile fragrance, this is a great option. The reason I give it only 4 stars is due to that staying power or length of time the scent lasts during the day. I sprayed this bottle once on my neck and twice on my shirt. After an eight hour day, I could certainly no longer smell that wonderful scent of this cologne. Since it was on me all day and I smelled it all day and likely became "nose-blind" to it, I made sure to ask my wife when I was home. I asked he: 1). Do you smell the cologne I am wearing? And 2). If you do, how strong is the scent? Her responses to my questions were: 1). No. (She did NOT smell the cologne on me OR my shirt). 2). This question is not an issue as she could not smell the cologne on me after my 8 hour work day. Maybe I am being too hard on them for expecting the cologne to last a full work day but for your own knowledge to understand the environment I was in, my workplace is in an office building where I work as a professional at a desk wearing a suit and tie. I am not working in a warehouse or industrial place where cologne is EXPECTED to dissipate quickly. I have other scents that last MUCH longer that this particular one. I will share that I DO love this cologne and it is very fresh and clean smelling! It would be hard not to like this one! I should also note that Valentino Uomo is an Eau de Toilette (EDT), which means it has a lower concentration of perfume oil than an Eau de Parfum (EDP). So this means it may not last quite as long as some other colognes. However, as worn by me the scent is initially still quite strong and remains present by my nose for a pretty long time, maybe 3-4 hours. It just could not make it the full work day for me. One last note to add, Valentino Uomo is a bit on the pricier side for colognes. It is not the most expensive but it is definitely not the cheapest out there. It is a very nice, "middle of the road" brand and scent that doesn't scream "LOOK AT ME, I AM TRENDY AND STYLISH!!!". I feel that this scent DOES softly say: "Excuse me, if my confidence has not already said I am ready for ANYTHING, then let me jump right in and say I'VE GOT THIS! What's next?". I highly recommend Valentino Uomo to any man looking for a new signature scent that wants to stand out and offer a fresh, real, and confident impression.
