Color varies // Amazing oil The Undaria Algae Body Oil I received was actually green and not orange-yellow like the photos show. I don't care much about the color if it's going to rub into my skin anyway but it just really threw me off when I opened the package- it made me think I was sent the wrong item or it became rancid or something. I contacted Osea customer service directly about the off-color just to make sure nothing was wrong and they informed me that "It is typical for the Undaria Algae Body Oil to range in color from light gold to dark green. The color does not impact the quality or efficacy of the product". They further explained that this happens due to the varying color of seaweed they use in the oils. I just don't want others to be alarmed by this like I was.
Now that that's out of the way, I really like the body oil itself! It's lightweight, non-greasy, and absorbs easily so it feels really nice on the skin. It has a light citrusy smell that seems to fade after being on the skin, which I like since I can still wear perfumes without the scents clashing. And WOW my skin is soooo soft all day long after using this! I can't stop rubbing my arms to feel how soft they are. This high quality body oil leaves no residue, greasy feeling, shine, or overbearing scent behind, making it seem like your skin is just naturally this soft and healthy on its own. The Undaria Algae Body Oil is like a secret weapon and worth every cent!
Like spreading peanut butter on skin. Maybe I'm the only person with this complaint, but it's so hard to rub in. The product is super thick, greasy and sticky. You don't want to wet it, as it breaks the product down. I use it after the shower, as recommended, but it's like the oil never soaks in, just sits on top of my skin. If I toss a bathrobe on, I get fuzz stuck to my body.
My friend said, when she was pregnant, she would cover herself in oil and lay on a towel until it soaked in. This oil makes me think that's how you're supposed to be using it. I was never able to grease up and get dressed. I was sliding around in my own pants. So gross in leggings.
It also required a lot of product to cover my body. For reference, I'm 5'4", 134#, fit and hydrated (I drink 130 oz per day). The amount of oil required to cover this real estate was crazy. I've had this product one week, used it every other day. In the first week, 40% of the bottle is gone. Is this normal? If so, it's unaffordable.
The smell is really pleasant, it reminds me of a spa. Aside from scent, I had no luck with the Undaria algae oil. I see other people are raving, but I can't get on that bandwagon.
To be honest, my skin doesn't feel any different. I prefer their anti-aging balm. The fragrance was excellent. The consistency was much nicer and I didn't walk away covered in bathrobe fuzz.
I plan to return this product.
It is okay... 3

It smells nice and feels nice but it is just a body oil. There are other body oils that are cheaper that can also moisturize. I did not see a difference in how my skin looked or felt that would make me buy this again. I am saying this after having used it for a couple months.
What yucky blob is in this bottle? 2

I purchased a bottle today at Ulta. It was on my wishlist for a while. I was disappointed to see there is something yucky and brown at the bottom. Even if the blob wasn't there the smell reminds me of lemon scented leather cleaner. :(

This oil is to die for good. I use it after a shower but also on my hands after washing. They feel like silk afterwards! Will always have this on hand now. Love it!
