Hi, I would like to use this as a heat protectant when I flat iron my hair. I usually wash my hair the night before and let it air dry to flat iron the next day. If I spray this while my hair is damp the night before, will the heat protection last until the next day? Or should I spray it while dry just before flat ironing? Thank you so much

If you wash your hair the night before, apply the product in the morning and then blow dry and flat iron. Do not attempt to use the flat iron on damp hair, this will cause your hair to scorch. Thankful that Ulta has a return policy because this went right back to the store. It really didn't give me the results that I hoped to have from the description. I felt like it made my hair oily and I really didn't see any softness or shine.
