Hold the brush horizontally. Press the inner curved side into the root of the lashes and pull upwards.
Use the outer-curved side and wiggle the bristles from side to side, base to tip, to separate, lift and define.
If desired, use the tip of the wand to coat lower lash line for precise application.

Seemed dried out or not enough product
I bought the sample size to try the product and i double coated my lashes and didnt see any difference in my lashes with this product that i wouldn't get with other mascaras. With all the great reviews and Good Housekeeping saying it's a big fave for so many I was not impressed at all. It did not get the length of others I've tried (like the picture shows). And a rediculous amount of flaking. That is something I can not tolerate, especially from a "high end" mascara.
I would not buy this again.
I have very small lashes, the brush is thick and it doesn't really grab/separate my lashes. I've had better results with cheaper brands. Just jot for me.
Delivers on its promise!
I have been looking for the perfect mascara for a while and this really fit the bill. It looks great, lasts long, doesn't clump, smudge or run. I would definitely buy it again.
A little disappointed
Overall it's a decent mascara, but not what I was hoping for. The formula is a little clumpy and does add volume, but not the length I've seen advertised in pictures. I'm just glad I tried the travel size first before buying the full size. Probably won't purchase again.
