For the nose:
- Using the contour shade, apply two lines down the sides of your nose, starting near the beginning of your brow and ending at the tip of your nose. Blend product to create shadows for a slimming effect.
- Remember: these lines determine how slim your nose will be, so place them accordingly.
- Using the highlighting shade, accentuate the bridge by applying a thin line from the top to the ball of your nose and blend. This draws the light to the center of your nose, making it look straighter.
- To make the nose look shorter: Apply the contour shade to the very tip and underneath the tip between your nostrils to add shadows for the illusion of a shorter nose.
For cheeks:
- Suck in your cheeks to find the perfect hollow from your ear to the corner of your mouth.
- Using the contour shade, apply along this line and blend upward to create the illusion of sculpted cheeks by creating shadows.
- Blend upwards to instantly give the illusion of a facelift.
- Apply blush right above the contoured line - on the apples of your cheeks - to create a naturally flushed look.
For the jawline:
- Apply the contour shade underneath your jawline to square off your chin for a more sculpted look.
Studio Tip: Also a great eye shadow in a pinch!
Use it with:
- Studio Skin 24 Hour Hydra Foundation
- Studio Skin Full Coverage 24 Hour Foundation
- The Original Photo Finish Foundation Primer

Wanted to try contouring...
I had been wanting to try the contouring craze going on at the moment, but was extremely weary of being able to accomplish it correctly. I read the reviews of the Smashbox Contouring Kit and because Smashbox has NEVER disappointed me before, I gave it a shot and purchased it. Thank God, I chose this...

it's fine, colors lackluster
I bought this at 50% off to try to teach myself how to contour. I have really oily skin so I don't like using too many creme products, including the dark/light concealer approach to contouring I saw all over YouTube. For reference bought the lighter version and I have neutral-medium skin. The kit co...

I like this set! But I LOVE the contour and wish I could get that separately.
My go to contouring palette
I have fair, cool toned skin and have gone through this palette twice as it's my daily go-to. The contouring shade is really flattering and blends very well! I love that it has no shimmer whatsoever and just disappears into the shadows like it's supposed to. The highlighter is a little yellow and a little dark for me, but i can make it work. The bronzer works works well for my skin as well, though I often skip it. I honestly love the brush for cheekbones and jawline.... For nose I use a different brush. I also feel like it lasts a really long time considering my daily use. I'm a big fan and will buy again.
The only contour and bronzer I use
I don't find any other contour or bronzers to be as good as this one.
Why don't you make refills???

I love this palette, it's one that I use the most. But I think I will have to switch to some other brand because there are no refills and imo it's SO YESTERDAY and SO UNSUSTAINABLE. I have tu buy the whole package again if I used one color more than the others? And what then? I'll just have 10 unfinished pallettes all without the lightest tone? Seriously, this is promoting consumerism. Very sad.
