    Q
I glossed my hair last night, but didn't use the whole bottle. I didn't get one side of my head as saturated as the other, so it's a bit lighter. What would happen if I used the remaining mixed gloss on the lighter side to try and even it out? If I can do this, should I leave it on any longer/shorter than fresh gloss?
    Asked by true brunette
Official Answer By Kristin Ess Hair - Brand Engage
Hello! Thank you for your question! No, you cannot save unused Kristin Ess Hair Signature Glosses in the bottle for later use. Once the gloss is mixed, you should use it within an hour because the active ingredients are no longer effective. To even out the tone we do recommend to use a new box of gloss in the same shade. You can try applying it on the lighter side of your hair first, try leaving it on for less time than you did before, then for the last 5 minutes of processing fully saturate all of your hair with the gloss to make sure its all even. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

I currently have my hair dyed a cherry red. It looks burgundy in regular lighting but bright red in sunlight. How will Wildy Berry look? I want to keep the color I have but more vibrant, I do not want it darker.
    Asked by Gaby
Official Answer By Kristin Ess Hair - Brand Engage
Hello! Thank you for your question! The Signature Hair Gloss in the the shade Wild Berry works best if you have dark hair and want to add a rich, deep burgundy tone. For red hair you could try the shade Ruby, which works great to enhance color treated and natural light brown, medium brown or red hair by adding vivid red tones. The intensity of the tone depends on the lightness or darkness of your existing shade. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Hi. I bleached and dyed my hair 4-5 months ago to an ashy chocolate color with blonde-ish highlights for the first time then went swimming in a pool. My hair now has a green tint color. Would this help fix it?
    Asked by Green hair dilemma
Official Answer By Kristin Ess Hair - Brand Engage
Hello! Thank you for your question! We would recommend to try the Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo first to help remove the chlorine from your hair before using the Signature Gloss. The Clarifying Shampoo helps remove mineral deposits from hard water or chlorine, product buildup, excess oils and even silicones that can build up over time. We do reccomend to always follow clarifying shampoo with a super moisturizing hair mask like the Kristin Ess Hair Reconstructive Moisture Mask. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

I dyed my hair like deep plum Color box dye . How would it look on that color the wild berry! I want my hair to look little burgundy not to red or purplish. The box dye turned my hair black and I can only see a little of plum color.

Hello! Thank you for your question! The Signature Hair Gloss in the shade Wild Berry is a perfect choice and works great if you have dark hair and want to add a rich, deep burgundy tone. Q
My hair color is medium ash brown; it's not blonde nor light brown. My hair pulls a LOT of red which I do not like. Does this product come in a tone for medium ash brown? And if not, can you recommend a product that would work on my hair color that won't pull as many red tones?
    Asked by Ashley
Official Answer By Kristin Ess Hair - Brand Engage
Hello! Thank you for your question! For medium ash brown hair that pulls red we would recommend to try the Signature Gloss in the shade Smoky Topaz. This shade is perfect if you have dark blonde or light brown hair (aka: bronde) and want to neutralize or tone down warmth. You could also try our Purple Shampoo and Conditioner dedicated to toning natural and color treated blondes and brunettes. It removes unwanted brassiness in the hair while cleansing + conditioning. Q
How does the Wild Berry show up on medium brown hair? My hair isn't super light or dark and I would like a tint of that color but I don't want it so appear as strong as a burgundy hair dye. I know that lighter hair will allow color to be seen more, but is the color still subtle on brown hair that isn't very dark?
    Asked by Ali
Official Answer By Kristin Ess Hair - Brand Engage
Hello! Thank you for your question! The Signature Hair Gloss in Wild Berry works best on dark hair to add a rich deep burgundy tone. When used on medium and lighter shades of brown hair Wild Berry will look brighter and may be less subtle depending on the lightness of your hair color. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Made my hair soft and shiny!

My hair is noticeably softer and shinier after using this Wild Berry hair gloss. No, my hair is not a significantly different color. You can tell a subtle difference in indoor light and a slightly more noticeable difference in sunlight that my hair is more of a reddish purple shade. My hair is na...

Chocolate Cosmo made my hair almost black

    Submitted 2 months ago

    By Jen

    From Utah

    Hair Type Wavy Hair

I have naturally very dark brown hair that is undyed. Looking to blend some grays and add some warmth I tried the chocolate cosmo and now my hair is almost black! I left the product on 20 minutes and was not expecting this outcome. It covered my grays too, although they look more reddish brown than black. I hope it washes out more quickly than some reviewers have mentioned.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I loved this box! The packaging was very cute and it even came with a rose gold comb. The 2 mixtures were super easy to pour together and apply! I loved that it was a gel so it wasn't too messy. It actually had a nice smell as well. However, I will say I didn't see a dramatic change in the shine of my hair. Although I've never used a product like this before I would be open to try other things from this brand.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

    Definitely not temporary

Different than what I expected. I've used color glosses before and love the Keracolor gloss. This gloss is more of a thinner consistency and i feel it would be better put on like regular hair color with sectioning and putting on with a brush to ensure even coverage. The thing I dont like most about it is that it is demi-permanent or permanent. It has been 3 months since i have used it and the color has faded slightly but now there is a line of demarcation. Disappointing.
