I purchased this along with a scalp treatment shampoo and conditioner in the hopes it would help clear up my irritated scalp. I was skeptical it would do anything since I have very thick hair. I find that I am using much less shampoo than before because it helps the shampoo lather, which is great because the shampoo and conditioner I bought were not large bottles. The "spikes" are very flexible and soft and feel really nice when paired with a tea tree formula product on my scalp, I feel like my scalp and hair are much cleaner after washing because there is much less residue left behind. It fits best in my hand if my index, middle, and ring fingers are inside the grips and my thumb and little finger on the outsides. It rinses off super easy and I hang it on my shower curtain rings to dry.
I wanted to love this product but unfortunately I think I have too much hair for it. I have fine hair, but a lot of it, and the little silicone nubs just don't reach my scalp when I'm lathering. I also feel like they're too soft to really do anything. It's more of a pain to try to get the brush to actually reach my scalp than it is to just use my fingers and get a deep scrub. I tend to get buildup along the back of my head near my neck and this hasn't been helping with avoiding that. It also tangles the heck out of my hair, which is the opposite of what I bought the product for. Just a waste of money. I'm going to try to look for something more heavy duty.

It keeps breaking every time I used it I don't think it is worth the money.

I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS WITH THIS ITEM. MI.NE HAS NOT COME APART LIKE MANY OTHERS SEEM TO. I USE WITH BOTH SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER, AND MY SCALP IS QUITE PLEASED. DOES NOT TANGLE MY HAIR, IN FACT MY HAIR IS LESS TANGLED AFTER USING THIS TOOL. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Used a handful of times before it broke and it was unfixable. Really disappointed

Just add a shampoo to the brush and start massaging your scalp 💫

Nice on scalp, but only got to use it a few times before it completely broke.

Broke the first time I used it.

I love this brush. Creates a nice lather and feels great on the scalp.

I used Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo then used this all over my scalp. Instantly felt the shampoo tingle and did not have flakes for 2 days

Works well for massaging scalp while shampooing, makes my scalp feel cleaner when I use it

the bristles weren't as sturdy as I was hoping, I couldn't really tell if it was really getting into my roots. honestly massaging the shampoo in with my fingers gave me a better scrub.
and then, it broke after about 3 uses. you can pop it back in but it will constantly break afterwards whenever you put the slightest pressure into the scrub.
save your money. this is one of those beauty items where its worth it to spring for a more expensive version.

If you enjoy purchasing things that break while you're gently using them as intended, definitely buy this. The way they designed this thing is awe inspiring.

After a couple months, it broke when I was using it in the shower :(

I've been using this a few months and it helps so much especially as I have issues with pain in my right hand. I can still get a great wash one handed!
Maggie from California
It's good! Helped me with my hair but broke after a few uses

This massage brush is wonderful.light enough to fit in your hand, gently push the bristles onto your scalp for a nice massage. It's easy to clean and a good hard material to last a long time

I could tell a difference in the first wash. totally would recommend!

I really wanted to love this brush. It did a great job at first but after continuing to massage my scalp the brush part broke.

I really like the feeling of the bristles on this, and it is affordable. It did fall off the handle though after only a few uses. I'm not pleased about that, but if it happens again (I just popped it back on) I'll probably just super glue it back on. I'm not going to return it, but it's kind of flimsy for what it is. I have very short, fine hair for reference.

I have thick natural Afro hair and this does an amazing job at cleaning my scalp and really getting the shampoo to lather. I've had this for like 5 months and it hasn't come apart at all (you can click it back in if it does). My hair is also much healthier with this as my first washing really gets my scalp clean so I don't have to go back in for a second shampoo.

I have long, thick hair. I put a lot of products in it. It's difficult getting my scalp clean sometimes. When I found out about this I bought one and after the first use I noticed a huge difference. My scalp is clean and my hair is less weighted down in the middle. I also love the feeling of a scalp massage. I'm in love!!!! Great buy!!!!

The rubber bristles are so soft and pliable I can't run this through my hair at all and I have fairly thin hair.

I got one of these in store for myself and used it once and my mom asked for one too so I ordered her some stuff for Mother's Day online including this and both of them came apart after 2 uses. It still works okay, I just have to hold the massaging part tightly against the handle so it doesn't fall apart while using. Wouldn't recommend.

have another one that does good but a little rough. this one is soft and soothing.
Candy from Maryland
I honestly loved this product at first, it was amazing & really did its job, but then at almost 2 months of use, it fell apart and broke... I should've listened to the reviews instead of taking a chance on this. Great concept but very poorly made :(
