Step 1: Exfoliate 24 hours prior to use. Immediately prior to application, moisturize any dry areas including elbows, knees, ankles and feet.
Step 2: For best results, apply using the Tan Applicator Mitt in long sweeping motions, starting at the ankles and working your way up. Then for your back, turn the mitt back to front and start applying in the same way. Ensure all areas are covered before lightly gliding any excess tan from the Mitt over your hands and feet.
Step 3: Wait until touch dry before getting dressed.
Step 4: Allow 4-8 hours before showering to reveal your developed tan.
Step 5: To prolong and maintain your tan, moisturize daily, exfoliate regularly and reapply as desired.

Vegetan is a 100% natural DHA (tanning agent) which is vegan friendly and derived from vegetable and plant sources. We combine our tanning agent with additional brown/black plant pigments plus additional skin conditioning ingredients for a deeper, longer lasting tan. The combination of 100% natural tanning agent plus color pigments can sometimes result in a slightly greenish tone (upon first initial application), but once the self tan has developed and the built-in bronzer (guide color) has been showered off, it will reveal a natural, healthy-looking tan.Was this answer helpful to you

If you want to shower quickly, you can use the Express Bronzing Mousse: shower after 1 hour for a light tan, 2 hours for medium and 3 for dark. We recommend applying once, wait 8 hours before showering. If you want a deeper tone, you can apply again, or simply reapply as needed every 5-7 days. Just a reminder on the simple steps for a flawless application: PREP: Exfoliate/hair removal 24 hours prior, then moisturize dry areas like elbows, hands, wrists, knees, feet & ankles immediately before application. APPLY: Pump onto Mitt and apply in long sweeping motions, overlapping layers & buffing into the skin to ensure no missed patches, then lightly apply the excess tan left on your mitt to your hands and feet. Not my favorite St Tropez product
I really wanted to love this one. It never fully dried, was sticky the whole time. Was easily messed up by the simplest little splash of water after hours on my skin. It left my palms super green. After following the directions for the time i rinsed it off and nothing. The lightest tan ever showing and streaky too. Really disappointed.
Do NOT buy this
This tanner is terrible. I usually use the "Extra Dark" version but my Ulta store was out so I figured this would be fine to try and boy was I wrong. The first time I applied it, the pump worked fine but it's SO sticky and the stickiness does not go away. After a day or so it starts looking so patchy. Not only that, it transfers into everything and gave me an orange tan. I figured maybe I applied it wrong? So when it came time to tan again, the pump just stopped working. I could barely get the pump to push down and then after a few pushes, the mousse finally came out but it was just watery. I then swapped the pump out with the pump from the bottle I just finished of the "Extra Dark" (which worked fine before) and the issue was as still there. I'm assuming there's a defect with the actual liquid and it's causing the pump to clog? I figured I'd try to still apply it that way but it turned out extremely orange and patchy. Unfortunately I threw my receipt away so I can't return this which is a shame. I recommend the "Exra Dark" version which is 10x better than this.
Anyone else have malfunctioned bottles?
So annoyed. I purchased this product and was testing it out. The coloring is a little orange for my liking, but not too bad. So I decided to buy again but this time my bottle would not produce foam… I exchanged it and picked up a new bottle and the same problem occurred! I've never had this with a foam bottle before. I spent an hour trying to fix this stupid thing. I would just recommend using a different brand as they probably had a quality error in their manufacturing.
The pump just stops working
I really like the product and finish. However I can only get enough pumps to do my legs before the pump stops working. Returned it. Got another one. Same thing happened. Makes me sad.
