NEST New York Santa Barbara Strawberry Perfume Oil

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This scent smells a little too sweet for my liking. It reminds me of the strawberry scent car freshener. I asked my daughter what it smells like, and she said it smells like a kids strawberry flavored lipgloss. I love sweet scents, but this one isn't it for me. This little sample size tube is perfect to carry around with you everywhere you go, I like how easily the roller glides on, the right amount of perfume comes out with every glide.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Overall I wasn't very impressed by this particular scent. The strawberry note comes off more candy-like than authentic fruit, though the woody notes help to prevent it from getting too cloying. I was looking forward to "dewy pink peony" notes listed in the description, but I unfortunately don't pick it up at all once it's on my skin. For an oil, it does have a pretty strong projection, and I could smell it on me without trying for the first couple of hours. Unfortunately, the longevity is poor and by the 4-hour mark, I could barely smell it even if I pressed my nose to my skin. Overall I felt that the scent was a little too flat and the longevity too poor for the price, but I appreciated the chance to try it.

I have sensitive skin, this roller does leave a red mark on my wrists with just one swipe (about an inch). Even if my skin has a negative reaction to this product, I've continuously used this when I'm out and about. The scent is slightly strong at first but, mellows out as hours pass but lasts the rest of the day. It doesn't smell too sweet candy like what you would expect a strawberry fragrance would be from the teen or young adult section. Floral notes and had a mature spring scent to me. The packaging is small and not wasteful. This is my first perfume oil and I do consider buying ONLY IF I find something that doesn't give me a slight rash where I place the product on.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is my first time trying a Nest fragrance and I was so excited because I've always heard such amazing things. I unfortunately was a little disappointed, I love the scent but it is so light! And it doesn't last at all. I've tried it alone, with unscented lotions and oils and Vaseline and it is still what it is; a soft light strawberry musk almost a skin scent for me. It's nice and I would buy it again but it needs to be stronger and longer lasting.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This was my first time trying the Santa Barbara Strawberry Perfume Oil and the scent itself is lovely—sweet, fresh, and very much like real strawberries. It feels light on the skin and lasts longer than I expected for an oil. The only downside is that my mini came without the rollerball, which made application a little tricky. Still, I really enjoyed the fragrance and with the rollerball it would be even more convenient. For a first try, I'd say the scent is definitely worth it!
