Even better than the 'Glow' tonic...

the smell....
I got this because I loved the glow tonic and seen many good reviews on this. this smelled too much like old perfume to me. I still continued to use it and seen nothing special. I almost used a whole bottle and still broke out and had the same issues as before. i went right back to what worked, the ...

So good on my acne prone skin
Verified Buyer
I've been using this for less than a week but I really think it's been helping with my acne. I'm so happy with this purchase
Great product!!
I really like the Pixi line and heard awesome things about this retinol tonic. Its very light on the skin, no harsh fragrance, gentle for my sensitive skin, no burn what so ever and even moisterizing! I use this in the pm after double cleansing and it has helped with my hormonal acne a TON!! Love this product!!
Great product to smooth skin
There are a lot of bumper on my chin because of wearing masks. This product is great to smooth the skin! A surprising finding! Will buy again.
Great product!
I use this in the evening after my cleanser and before my essense and it has helped tremendously with my acne. It's very gentle yet effective and my skin is so soft! I will definitely be using this on a regular basis and very impressed with results.
Even better than the 'Glow' tonic...
I loved Pixi's Glow Tonic and after trying this I'm surprised to discover that both products have a very similar effect on my skin. Both balance hydration (in this case Glycerin and Propanediol) whilst being moderately astringent, both are brightening (a good amount of Vitamin C in here) and other than the color and fragrance of the tonics, my skin reacts almost identically whichever of the two I'm using. However one crucial difference with the Retinol version is it has a better effect on my pores. 'Glow' kept them fairly clear, although it didn't minimize them in any way, but this one definitely has a subtle yet noticeable minimizing effect on them. I'm thinking now to alternate the two each night, as I tend to avoid using Retinol or its derivatives, and AHA-containing products during the day time. If you already use Retinol in your skincare (cream, serum) then it may be worth skipping this product as you're probably used to a much higher percentage of the ingredient and won't notice any additional benefits of using this one. But if you find most retinol products too irritating - as I do, then this is a good entry level product, mild enough not to cause any issues like sensitivity, and yet still potent enough to make a fair amount of difference. If I had to pick between the two, I'd choose this tonic over the 'Glow' one. Retinol aside, the ingredients in this one are overall superior. And so are the results. -> My 'Ulta Beauty Top 7 must-have list' (My 7 favorite beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Ulta) < - < 1.
