This is my go to for heat protection. Nothing has worked quite as well. I use it before I blow dry my waist length hair and then a spritz a little more before straightening or curling it for a little extra. It leaves my hair soft smooth and very shiny. It's worth every penny and actually lasts quite a while even with everyday use.
Smooths and protects my fine hair!
I recently cut over 12 inches off my hair so now my hair is right at my shoulders. Shorter hair is honestly harder to style than long. I've been on the search for a heat protectant that didn't make my hair feel sticky. Decided to give this one a try and for the price it's great. Now I've only used this once so far but I'm so impressed with the results. The consistency is creamy like but it's pretty light weight. It smells great, does not have a heavy perfume smell at all. I have fine hair that's about medium to thick density and this seems to do well on my hair. I also used this on dry hair before I styled it with the shark flexstyle with the round brush attached. This made my hair so smooth!!

It does its job, but it makes my hair greasy. It smells nice, it has a large volume, a good dispenser, a large spray radius, it came packaged in a protective film. I don't think I'll buy it a second time. It didn't suit my thick, straight hair.

I recently received a Shark FlexStyle for Christmas, and had been doing research on what products to use. The Nexxus Thermal Shield Spray was one of the first recommendations. Not only does it smell AMAZING (like roses), and leaves my hair smelling so good all day, but it works so well. I saw a TikTok where a girl sprayed her thermal protectant on a Q-Tip and held a flame over it, to test how well the protectant works. So of course I had to try it, and not a single burnt fiber! I was absolutely shocked. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who regularly styles their hair with heat! It claims to protect hair up to 450°F and provide frizz protection, and I do find it makes my hair feel so much smoother.
