Great dupe for Milk HydroGrip
I did my usual skincare before priming and compared the E.L.F. on my left to the Milk in my right. I couldn't tell a difference.

This primer works really good for anyone that has oily skin. The primer glides on so effortlessly and really does mattify and reduce my pores for a smooth finish once my concealer and foundation was applied.I also like that it's a very nice sized bottle and reasonably priced .I received this product...

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The e.l.f. Power Grip Primer is a good, affordable option for anyone looking to make their makeup last longer. I really like how it has a slightly sticky texture that helps foundation and concealer stay in place throughout the day. My makeup definitely looks smoother and stays put for hours. However, it does take a minute to dry down, and if you don't let it set properly, it can feel a little tacky or cause slight pilling with certain products. It's also not the most hydrating, so I recommend pairing it with a good moisturizer if you have dry skin. Overall, it's a solid drugstore primer that performs well for the price and is great for everyday use.

This really works
It's not often a product does what it actually advertises and I'm so impressed with this primer. It really does provide a base for your foundation to grip to. I work in a hospital and often have a mask on my face for surgery, and am always self consious when I take the mask off my foundation is wiped off my nose, cheeks, and chin. While this primer doesn't keep my foundation on perfectly, it's a big improvement. A little goes a long way, less than a pea sized amount spread across the face and then dab it in. Let it sit for a minute and then apply foundation. It makes my dry skin dewier as the day goes on so if you're oily you probably won't like it. But great for dry skin. Will definitely be purchasing again!
Amazing primer
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I got to try this E.L.F. power grip matte primer and holy cow... power grip is an understatement! This primer is probably one of the best I've ever used! It does have quite a thick consistency, but if you're like me and you only want to apply your makeup once a day, then this is the primer for you! It does have a slight heaviness when you first apply it, but I notice that goes away over a short period of time. It definitely works!
I will definitely buy this again
At 64, I still have a problem with oily skin. This product definitely helps keep oil from breaking through. Happy with this suggestion & purchase.
