Key to a Poreless Canvas

I recently embarked on a quest to conquer my enlarged pores, and the Milk Makeup Pore Eclipse Matte Blur Stick became my trusty weapon. Applying it was a breeze, just a few swipes over my T-zone and any other problem areas. With its velvety texture, the stick glided on smoothly like butter, feeling l...

okay primer, more mattifying than blurring

It does more for oil control than blurring for me; frankly I don't notice any more "blur" than I do with any other primer. I noticed on the ingredients list that it has corn starch. tea tree, charcoal, and witch hazel in it, which I think are the main ingredients that help keep the shininess at bay ...

I don't like the texture

Milk Makeup gifted me the Pore Eclipse Matte Blur Stick to try out. It is a primer and has no silicone in it. I wiped it on straight onto my skin after moisturizer. I had waited maybe 3 minutes after moisturizing before applying it, but I got a little pilling, so I learned that it requires a longer wait. It cut back my shine some, but it did not make my skin matte. Also, to me, the feel of it has a silicone-like texture (even though it doesn't contain any silicone), which is a strange sort of slippery feel. My shine started reappearing after about 3 or 4 hours. My makeup goes on over it ok, but the staying power seems about the same as usual. Overall, it is a little tricky to get it applied using the stick. It seems to be an okay primer and definitely clean and vegan, but I don't enjoy the feel of it on my skin and it doesn't reduce my skin enough.

This primer is great! Lasted all day through 8hrs of waitressing, I applied it after my moisturizer just as you would usual primer. It's lightweight and not caked and it didn't pile with my foundation and concealer Gifted by milkmakeup

I wish it blurred JUST A TAD more but it does what it says and definitely helps reduce my shine, a lot of people have been asking me what I been using it and feel like this specifically has done the trick.
