Apply it generously on the face avoiding the eye area and leave on for about 8 to 10 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. I bought a jar of the clay mask and opened it about 8 months ago. There is an orange residue building on the surface of the clay. Is this normal or should I discard?

Goodbye oil clogged pores!!!
I don't think there is a woman and probably half the men on earth that doesn't have memories of using a green clay based face mask during our youth! I've been in the beauty industry since 16 years old and I remember the old school green clay masks, typically by Queen Helene (mint julepe) or Freeman....

Product caused a chemical reaction
Top notes: Did not perform compared to others when using to clear blackheads or just a general pore cleanse. Noticed no improvement of skin afterwards or over time. After a few uses with no reaction, I had severe chemical reaction to this product which left my skin blistering red for most of the day...

Love this product and the effect it my skin after used
A gentle mask to detox your skin
Pore Amour is one of the best clay masks I've ever tried. I like that it's very gentle on the skin; it doesn't feel harsh at all when applied, and when it dries, it doesn't feel as tight as other masks. When I remove it, the changes are noticeable: my skin looks much softer, my pores feel super decongested; it's like giving my face an express detox. And, of course, I have to highlight its new packaging; it's now much more hygienic to use. I don't have to put my fingers in to get the product out, so I avoid contaminating it and making a mess. Plus, it's travel-friendly; I loved this upgrade. So I definitely recommend using this mask if you have sensitive skin like mine and need gentle exfoliation without damaging the skin barrier in the process.

Very nice clay mask, clears pores nicely.
The second step of my night time routine is using the Provence Beauty Pore Amour Clarifying Clay Mask. It comes in a metal tube which is also recyclable. It comes out easily and has a creamy texture. It has a cooling effect when it is first applied. You want to first cleanse your skin and put dry then apply an even layer of the green clay mask, let it dry down "I do about 10 minutes" so it fully dries down and gets into the pores. Then rinse clean with warm water. For oily skin you use 2-3x a week, for normal skin you can use only 1-2x a week. It gives an extra deeper clean and purifies your pores. Very nice deep clean.
