I was looking forward to trying this as I currently have other polo perfumes. This cologn has citrusy and woody scent to it. It lasts long but I'm glad the scent is not overpowering and strong. I do get a lot of compliments on what perfume I'm wearing. The scen is very fresh, clean and elegant.

Polo red is a very masculine scent which includes citrusy notes as well as fruity spicy notes. The first thing I noticed right off the bat was a strong scent of cranberry and citrus followed by a mellow warmth of amber. There is a very subtle scent of coffee beans but these all play as undertones to the dominant scents of cranberry. For me it lasted about 4-5 hours which is not bad for a night out and it certainly is a head turner amongst the ladies. I would not put this in my top 5 colognes but it is good to keep around. 7.5/10
