I've been in love with the Glossier balmdotcoms for ages now, but I hate that their tubes aren't made for applying into lips! I've been searching for a decent dupe to them for a while now, and this is a perfect dupe for the Glossier mint balm flavor. The consistency is pretty liquid once it melts with your lip temperature, but is semi-thick in texture which is perfect for my lips. My lips get easily chapped very often and they require consistent lip balm application, so I tend to go for more thick textures… plus thicker textures make my lips feel like they've been swaddled in pillows. This balm is pillowy with that lovely mint tingling sensation that mint balms give. This balm also doesn't taste like anything which is something I personally enjoy as I don't want my balm to contribute to my candy cravings. This balm does have a bit of fragrance from the mint, so be warned if you're sensitive to fragrance. TLDR:: I would recommend this if you: - want a thin consistency that warms up to your body temperature. - want something pillowy on your lips. - like thicker textures in balms. - don't want to taste your balms. - enjoy a minty tingling sensation. - love Glossier's lip balms. I would not recommend this if you: - don't like thicker textures in your balms. - want something that doesn't give a tingling sensation on your lips. - want a balm that has an actual flavor to it. - are sensitive to fragrance.
I like to use this before bed. A minty and cooling sensation. Can feel like there's a lot of "vaseline" on my lips if I apply more than a pea sized amount

I love this lip balm! I have sensitive skin and can't use any of the usual lip balms (I.e. Chapstick, Eso, Burt's Bees). So having one I don't react to is lovely! Also, the time between applications is a lot longer than other balms I've tried.

Use it daily on my lips. Carry one in my purse and one with me. The only lip balm that keeps my lips moisturized in the winter. Wish it had an spf. My lips burned in the summertime in HAWAII. So remember to use an sfp on your lips when using this!

I am just now realizing I purchased this in April, because I have been using this every single night and am nowhere close to finished! I don't even need to reapply lip balm throughout the day and haven't dealt with chapped lips since using this. I will not hesitate to repurchase this (even for another flavor) once I finish!

Best moisturizing balm I've ever tried! I was told by someone else buying it that she & her daughter absolutely love it & it just made me want to purchase it! I'm so glad i did because i will forever buy this & the mint is especially my favorite (:

Now my favorite chap/lipstick, it keeps your lips moisturized for hours and has such a nice cooling sensation & not feeling sticky at all. I would recommend also that this could be a great product for kids with dry lips!

This product is worth every penny. The smell is nice and not overwhelming. Keeps my lip hydrated all day long especially under a mask which is nice. I have several in all my purses and bags. 10/10 recommend

After years of use blistex has stopped working for me. I tried tons of other products but nothing worked. I purchased lanolips last week. On the first day it two I had to apply it almost every 2 hours, now I only use it about 3 times a day. Love it!!!

This really coats my dry, cracked lips. It is super thick and has a nice minty scent. I think it is a bit pricy but you don't really need a lot of this product since it is so thick. This lip balm really attached to the dry/dead skin and helps gently peel it away when you wipe your lips with a damp, warm cloth. Soothes my lips as well.

I have the worst chapped lips, and staying hydrated has nothing to do with it. I did take an intense acne medication known for drying lips and skin (rhymes with smaccutane) about 15 years ago and I guess maybe my lips just never recovered. I never found a chapstick that really had a lasting effect, and resigned myself to either reapplying chapstick every hour or having peeling painful cracked lips. I saw a review for Lanolips on Buzzfeed and although I was very reluctant to spend that much money on a tiny tube of anything, I was desperate. Buying Lanolips was the best decision I ever made. Now my lips are so healthy, and Lanolips is what saved them. I later tried Glossiers balm dotcom and it is a great product for maintenance, and not quite as sticky, but it doesn't hold a candle to the healing ability of Lanolips. I will never willingly be without a tube of this in my house again. And the mint flavor is perfect! If you have struggled with chapped lips please try this product.

Due to my medication, my mouth and lips are always so dry. I've tried so many different products from Regular Vaseline to medicated balms. This, by far, is the best. It doesn't have a strong scent and it doesn't feel sticky. I can wear it in the house, but would also wear it out with a little lipstick (for a little extra color).

Love everything about this product from the moment I first applied it. Nice and smooth without being too sticky and by the time it had worn off I noticed a huge difference in my lips. I will say, it almost kinda makes your lips shed what's dead to reveal healed lips. But only after the first application, not every time.

Perfect for winter, and perfect replacement for any super expensive lip mask. Try this before any other lip mask bc it's pretty similar. It's super hydrating, not too thick, and smells good. Even love the strawberry version too.

I was hoping this would have a long lasting time period and sadly, it does not. I don't think I'm a fan of the product consistency.

I love this lip balm! She's super thick, almost like Vaseline, which is awesome because that means she actually keeps my lips moisturized. Plus, the mint isn't too strong; I haven't noticed a minty taste and the scent fades after it's on your lips. So far, I've only been using this balm at night before I go to bed and I haven't woken up with crusty lips once in the week I've had it. Surprisingly, December hasn't been too cold in WI yet, but this balm will be great when the temps-and moisture levels-really start dropping. I can't say I'm really wild about the price, but this product does come from Australia and you only need the teeniest amount (like a pin head), so I'm sure this little tube will last me forever. I can't wait to try the other lip balms!

love this just not a fan of the product consistency

I love all Lanolips products. Unfortunately, I am allergic to the mint in this on my lips, but I love the alternative to the other fruity smells/flavors of other Lanolips products.

It's easiest to apply if you warm the product by squeezing the tube in your hand for a bit, but this by and far the absolute best lip product I've ever used! Super moisturizing!!

I am one of those people with chronically chapped lips, it doesn't matter how well-hydrated I am, my lips are always chapped. I discovered Lanolips over this winter after reading at a review from Buzzfeed of the Strawberry 101 Ointment. The strawberry is nice, but I'm a mint girl, so I was delighted when the Mint 101 Ointment debuted shortly after I read the Buzzfeed review. I have a tube in my car, another tube on my desk, one by my bed, and I just ordered another to go in my makeup bag. The best thing: I don't actually need all of these tubes, because my lips don't dry out between applications like they used to. This stuff is THE BEST.

I just wish it had a little more of the mint scent/flavor! Kind of like the lemonade one!

I am really picky about my lip products but this one passes. It's on the thicker side but it wasn't sticky. You only need a little bit and it lasts for hours and you don't have to reapply which is a huge thing for me. I did use it for a small dry patch on my chin and it cleared it right up. I highly recommend.

I love the formula of these lip balms it's thick formula that I really enjoy. It's so moisturizing and comforting on the lips. I also use the balm on my cuticles and to moisturize my hands as well. But it's so amazing for the lips I really recommend them to everyone.

I already loved Lanolips superbalm and was hoping that they would make a mint one. No other lip balm compares to Lanolips
