Rips your hair out
So incredibly cheap and badly made. It's cheap metal with a gold coating. The gold was peeling off already when I received it, and these peeling bits of paint ripped my hair out when I used it. Save your money and get a solid brass one from somewhere else.

I recently bought the gold one at Ulta. It's very pretty and works well. I have wavy/curly hair that is a little past my shoulders. The pin is sturdy and holds all day. My only gripe is when I bought it already had a small chip/imperfection which I was worried would snag on my hair and pull it out. So far it's been fine. I've also ordered a silver one, super excited for it! I would recommend this hair pin. It's perfect for all hair types in my opinion. Not too heavy, just the right size.
