Apply lip balm 15 minutes prior; pat off excessive oils with a tissue. Apply Velvetines directly to lips (use a lip brush to refine edges). Remove at the end of the day with waterproof makeup remover or oil.

Jinx is a great color on me. Unfortunately, it's got issues. It applies thinly and very watery. It also dries down fast, so you need to apply a 2nd coat within 10 seconds and hope the applicator doesn't push the liquidy product around into patches. Dries slowly but color is nice
I have both Bloodmoon and Black Velvet and they take a considerable amount of time to dry and feel sticky until they do. if you layer too much itll crumble once it dries but thats not uncommon for liquid lipsticks to do. I love the Bloodmoon color but Black Velvet isnt as opaque as i'd like. its very patchy unless you do a thick layer. id recommend it but id let whoever i was recommending it to know all of this.

clumps…looks super old. I wasted money on this and wanted to return it but im not paying the shipping fees since i dont have an ULTA near me. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Disappointing. The color looks a little purple on the site but it's definitely just brown in person. I'm never going to wear this shade. It's just ew. Performance wise: it stayed tacky after drying, it made my lips look super wrinkly, it stood up to the water when I hopped in the shower, it washed off easily.

I used to love this product when it first came out. Now, I used it and it lasts 5 minutes before crumbling and becoming patchy on my lips. The color is pretty tho. I'm wondering if they changed the product ingredients. This product has great colors tho.

I'm not in love but I'm not upset. The shade range is beautiful and diverse which I love, however the formula is lackluster. It's definitely not transfer proof and will come off on the inner lips pretty fast. The formula is dry and the doe foot feels cheap. It's alright for photos or short wear but if you're like me and want to slap it on and minimally touch up, this is not for you.
