Amazing Full Strength Pigments as someone who has done makeup 30+ years, it takes a lot to impress me, let alone wow me....but this product does just that.
these pigments are so fabulous. you're only limited by your imagination. they even make a lovely long lasting lipcolor (or you can use as a lipliner) that doesn't budge!!!
my favorite thing to do with these paints, is sunset eyes. you can blend the colors into each other, seamlessly. they do dry QUICKLY so, I recommend doing a practice run on your forearm or the back of your hand....it will give you a feel for the texture and how to budget your play time before these babies dry down.
if I wasn't so hopelessly addicted to eyeshadow with a huge collection, I could absolutely use just these colors and throw out my palettes. with all the color options and the primaries, you have the ability to create literally thousands of shades. I would go so far as to say this is one of the very best makeup products of the past 5 years.
it's the versatility for me.
I love that I can use these in my waterline with no problem and they do great as conventional eyeliner as well. I have about a dozen shades and I'm only missing about 2. if you like bold color, aren't shy to work with a liquid pigment and love products that multi-task, grab a few!! You absolutely will not be disappointed. all the products I have used from this brand, are innovative and awesome.
This stuff sucks TLDR: Misleading advertising, don't expect hand swatches to look as nice on the eyes, works better as eyeliner applied with a thin brush, applies transparently and needs to be built up, annoying/messy to apply and control, just buy a good quality face paint palette and save your money if you want colorful liner options.
I was excited and saw all the hype on tiktok and stuff but I bought the orange one, expecting a beautiful matte opaque application of color, instead I got a watery, yellow-ish mess.
My skin is between medium and tan, I'm a warm brown skinned person, and the orange looked like someone rubbed watery tumeric on my eyelids.
You could try and build it up but since it's advertised as matte and opaque, that's what I was expecting. Also, building up enough layers to make it opaque would be a pain and messy as they need to be blended with the fingers.
If you applied it with a thin eyeliner brush for use as an eyeliner or for graphic liner, it'd probably look alright, but you could probably just buy a good quality face paint palette instead of buying tons of these things and save money and get more variety.
It's just annoying to use as eyeshadow and the advertising for it set expectations too high. Overall, if you plan on buying this expecting a beautiful, easy one swipe eyeshadow experience, especially if you're someone with a non-pale complexion, keep your receipt handy.
Dry way too fast to blend out 3

I bought Freaked and La Zona Rosa. These are really good if you're into graphic looks, but if you're looking for something to blend out or use as a one-and-done, don't bother. They dry down very fast and they set and don't budge. It's extremely hard to get an even blend, and by the time you're done fussing with it you realize it's actually faster and easier to use primer and normal shadow. Also, they dry so matte that you'll see texture you didn't know you had.

Versatile product! 5

Nice bright color on deeper skin tones if you pat with a flat brush, I use a couple colors as blush applied with fingertips, very comfortable wash effect on mature eyes if you use a fluffy blender. Don't fool with the applicator except to get it out.
Dried Out? 1

Not sure what happened but I got this and it was either completely dried out or empty. Since I can't really see in the container the wand just kind of came out without any product. Something to watch for I guess.

I am 60 years old and been fearful of trying liquid eye makeup. I use Ulta eye primer first. I continue to work as a home health nurse, so I am in and out of the car, elements and homes all day long. The shadow is easy to apply. I suggest small amounts first and work from there. It applies easily, smoothly and does not dry out too fast! I love the look I can create with this eye shadow! You will NOT be disappointed!
